PoC Installation Requirements¶
This document describes the requirements for setting up a Proof of Concept (PoC) environment for the ApiFort, developed by Kafein Technology Solutions. Meeting these requirements is essential to ensure a smooth and efficient installation.
1. System Requirements¶

2. Network Requirements¶
The following ports must be open during installation:

3. External Requirements¶
Internet access is not required during the installation. It is sufficient to provide the operating system information of the server that will host the application.
4. Operating System Requirements¶
Apifort runs on the following operating systems:
- Ubuntu (recommended)
- Debian-based or Fedora-based (e.g., RHEL, Rocky)
- Windows Server
If Windows Server is used, Hyper-V must be enabled since WSL will be installed.
5. DNS Requirements (Optional)¶
Using DNS is recommended for better readability and accessibility. Example DNS usage:
apifort.poc.kafein.com
6. SSL Requirements (Optional)¶
If DNS is used, either a self-signed or a CA-signed SSL certificate can be used.
- Self-signed certificates can be generated during installation.
- CA-signed certificates must be provided by the customer.
DNS configurations and certificate details must be shared before the installation.
